Megan Van Leeuwen
(she/her) MSW In Progress
Counselling Intern
Welcome! I know reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, and I’m here to support you along that journey.
My name is Megan and I am a Master of Social Work Student completing my practicum at Blueprint Counselling. I have worked with children and families in community, justice and child welfare settings. My previous practicum was focused on providing group and individual support for those experiencing Family and Intimate Partner Violence. I’m especially passionate about social justice, systemic issues and how our identities and lived experiences shape who we are.
My counselling approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and collaborative. I integrate a relational perspective to create a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your journey.
Outside of my work, I find balance through yoga, hiking, art, time in nature, and being with my family and pets.
I offer support to individuals (10+) through both in person and virtual sessions, please reach out to book a free consultation to see if you feel we are a good fit!
