Welcome.

Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you've spent a long time trying to figure things out on your own. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burnt out, disconnected from yourself, or caught in patterns that no longer make sense, you don't have to navigate it alone.

I believe our reactions make sense when we understand the experiences that shaped them. Together, we'll slow things down with curiosity rather than judgment, exploring how your nervous system, relationships, and life experiences have influenced the ways you've learned to cope, protect yourself, and move through the world.

This is not about "fixing" you.

It's to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself so you can begin responding from a place of greater choice, self-trust, and compassion.

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and relational. I draw primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Mindful Self-Compassion while integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills when helpful. I work gently with both the mind and body, helping clients recognize nervous system patterns, understand protective parts, and create a greater sense of safety within themselves.

Clients often tell me they appreciate that therapy feels both grounding and practical. Together we make sense of your experiences, identify patterns, and build a shared understanding of what's happening beneath the surface—without rushing or forcing change before your system is ready.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My background includes community mental health, homelessness prevention, crisis intervention, and substance use services, allowing me to support people from many different walks of life. I provide gender-affirming, anti-oppressive care and welcome clients of all identities, cultures, and lived experiences.

Alongside trauma work, I enjoy supporting people who are navigating burnout, shame, self-criticism, relationship challenges, identity exploration, parenting, life transitions, substance use recovery, and the lasting impact of childhood experiences. I also welcome conversations around spirituality, meaning, and our relationship with nature when these are important parts of your healing.

Above all, I hope therapy becomes a place where you feel understood—not judged—and where you can begin to trust yourself again.
