Counselling Intern
Hi, I’m Sahil. I’m a Master of Social Work student with a background in psychology. As a first-generation immigrant, queer person, and someone with ADHD, I bring my lived experiences into my work by centring identity and neurodivergence in the process.
I understand how culture, belonging, and intersecting identities influence mental health, and I strive to create a safe space for you to explore your experiences without fear of judgment.
I’m especially passionate about supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, newcomers, and immigrants. I work with individuals navigating challenges such as identity exploration, anxiety, trauma, ADHD-related concerns, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in curiosity, respect, and authentic connection. Together, we’ll explore what feels most meaningful to you and move at a pace that feels right.
I also acknowledge that my work occurs on the traditional lands of Indigenous Peoples, and I emphasize this awareness by prioritizing respect, listening, and openness to diverse ways of knowing and healing.
Let’s connect and begin this journey together.
