Have you been feeling like you’ve lost touch with yourself, or are wondering how to access the person inside who you know is calm, confident, creative, and free? In therapy, I can support you through building a compassionate relationship with parts of yourself you might be having a hard time accepting, including ones that have caused harm to yourself or someone else.
You might be navigating difficult or abusive family or caregiver relationships, exploring attachment, or looking for support processing past traumas. My practice includes support for parents who want to show up differently for their children, adults and youth exploring gender or sexual identity, and anyone with ADHD or Autism navigating shame that can accompany late diagnosis. I also support clients who are navigating relationship challenges and are looking to deepen their connection by understanding how their own wounds affect their openness and authenticity. I work with people in all types of relationship structures.
My approach is mostly informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and parts work, which helps clients develop insight, self-compassion, and healthier relationships with themselves. Creativity is an important part of my life, and I sometimes bring art, music, or other creative approaches into sessions to support growth and self-expression.
I am part of queer communities and have previously worked as a sexual health educator and systems navigator at a local community health centre. Being in private practice has been a long-term dream of mine, and I am honoured to be trusted with people’s stories and with supporting them through life’s transformations.
If you feel drawn to explore therapy and want to see if we might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out. I would love to meet you.
