(she/her) BSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker

The idea of sitting across from a stranger and feeling pressure to be vulnerable can be incredibly daunting. I’ve been there, I attend counselling myself! Many of us have felt the nerves that come with the unknowns of meeting a new counsellor for the first time, especially when you aren't quite feeling like yourself and are reaching out for support. My goal is to help you feel at ease by conducting sessions where you feel most comfortable. Whether that be in my calm, cozy office here at Blueprint, online where you can enjoy the comfort of your own home, or out in the fresh air on Walk and Talk sessions, where we can experience the benefits of natural surroundings in one of London's beautiful parks while walking side by side. I’m here for you, at times that work for your busy schedule.

My practice is a dynamic one of authenticity and non-judgement, and as someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, I come to my sessions with warmth and humor at the forefront (oh, and a sprinkling of an Irish accent!). I firmly believe that understanding your mental health and how your mind and body processes thoughts and feelings is crucial to obtaining mental wellness, and I utilize both talk therapy and mind-body (somatic) practices to help get you there.

With 5+ years of counselling experience in the field of domestic violence, I have gained a trauma-informed, feminist, and anti-oppressive perspective, and this is consistent in both my personal and professional life. I enjoy working with folks from many walks of life; individuals, couples, parents, and anyone navigating depression, anxiety, stress, burn-out, life transitions, and many other life difficulties. It can be so rough out there, and you don’t have to go through it alone. Please connect for a free consultation, I’m here, and I’d love to meet you!

Blueprint Counselling is located in London and Toronto, Ontario where we live, work and grow on the traditional territory of many sovereign Indigenous Nations. London is the traditional home of the Haudenosaunee, Lūnapèewak, Attawandaron and Anishinaabek. Toronto, whose name is taken from the Mohawk word “Tkaranto,” is the traditional home of the the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabek, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat. We recognize that these lands are now home to many diverse Indigenous Peoples and acknowledge the historical and ongoing oppression and marginalization of First nations, Inuit and Métis people. We also acknowledge the historic and ongoing harms to Indigenous families and communities caused by social workers and mental health professionals and commit to ongoing work to decolonize our practice.
