ADHD Coach and Learning Strategist

Neuro-diversity is a beautiful thing and ADHD can be an absolute super power. However, we exist in a world that has been set up for the neuro-typical. I seek to provide ADHD coaching that is based on a compassionate approach designed to reduce ADHD shame and develop strategies that can assist you to accomplish your goals and live a life you love.

I have a degree in Critical Disability Studies, a Masters of Education and a post-grad certificate as a learning disability and ADHD specialist with a focus on specific learning strategies. I also have combined type ADHD and a teenage daughter with the same diagnosis. I have worked in the post-secondary system as a professor and for the last eight years as an accessibility counsellor. I am well versed in post-secondary accessibility supports and funding available for students with ADHD and can assist you in navigating this system. I offer a variety of strategies and techniques for folks that struggle with executive functioning. These include strategies for time management, organization, prioritizing, understanding procrastination, chunking and managing emotional regulation as it relates to ADHD.

I’m accepting new clients for virtual sessions across Ontario. I look forward to meeting with you to help you learn to love your unique and fantastic brain and the incredible gifts and talents it has given you.

Blueprint Counselling is located in London and Toronto, Ontario where we live, work and grow on the traditional territory of many sovereign Indigenous Nations. London is the traditional home of the Haudenosaunee, Lūnapèewak, Attawandaron and Anishinaabek. Toronto, whose name is taken from the Mohawk word “Tkaranto,” is the traditional home of the the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabek, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat. We recognize that these lands are now home to many diverse Indigenous Peoples and acknowledge the historical and ongoing oppression and marginalization of First nations, Inuit and Métis people. We also acknowledge the historic and ongoing harms to Indigenous families and communities caused by social workers and mental health professionals and commit to ongoing work to decolonize our practice.
