Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist

We can often be so unkind to ourselves and the experiences we have lived through.  You may not know where to start but you know you want to. Reaching out is often the biggest step to make but look at the courage and strength you have demonstrated in landing on this page.

You are ready for this healing journey, and you are ready to have someone create a safe space for you to heal in a way that you want to heal. The people I support are the experts in their own lives but may need some guidance on accessing their inner knowledge. Through counselling we can work together to help you to stand in your power and be your authentic self. I believe in building relationships with not only ourselves, but also our difficulties.

I offer wholistic, relationship-focused, genuine, empathic, grounding therapy with an approach which is client-centered, trauma-informed and strength-based. Now you may be asking, “what does this all mean?” The honest answer is my approach is driven by being unapologetically authentic; which means I walk this healing journey with you, because I have lived these many experiences just as you have. What better way to create a genuine therapist-client relationship than knowing the person in the healing space with you truly understands and has lived the same experiences as you. We will work together to learn new tools and techniques to better yourself and further your healing.

My role is to be a companion that guides you along your path. I have extensive experience working with individuals who experienced trauma; neurodivergent (ADHD/ADD) people; people managing mental health concerns, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, substance use concerns and other addictions; and people looking to improve their relationships.

You’re ready for this and I’m ready to help you. Let’s get started.

Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are.
