Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a queer psychotherapist and a recent transplant from the United States.
I work with queer, trans, and neurodivergent teenagers and adults. Sometimes this includes identity exploration, but sometimes clients just want a therapist who is competent and knowledgeable about these parts of their life. I often support folks who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief & loss of all kinds, ADHD, autism and OCD. This also encompasses many other areas of the human experience, including relationship changes, life transitions, healthy communication, boundary setting, self-criticism, shame, and compassion fatigue.
I am a talk therapist who uses different approaches and can often adjust to a client’s needs. I spend lots of time listening to clients, but am also candid and conversational. If needed, we may work on skills and strategies—and then work through the things that get in the way. I incorporate an IFS-informed parts work approach for clients who are interested in it, and use Exposure & Response Prevention therapy (ERP), for clients struggling with OCD. My approach is patient, compassionate, collaborative, and creative.
I work with clients throughout Ontario through telehealth (video sessions), and continue to work with clients in the states of New York and Wisconsin. If you are from one of these states, please reach out for information specific to billing and fees in the US.
I also provide clinical and practice building consultation to other therapists. I love providing deep-dive support and guidance, by helping you to untangle complex details and find a way forward. I’ve been a therapist since 2012, and am happy to lean on my experience to help support you.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
