Getting Started

Find Your Fit

Healing and growth happen in relationship, which is why we’re serious about finding the right therapist fit. Once you’ve completed our matching form our collaborative care team will reach out to suggest a few of our currently available counsellors based on your unique needs, preferences and availability. You can then select who you’d like to meet with for an initial consultation. You are welcome to meet with a few of the suggested counsellors for a consultation before confirming the match.

Initial Consultation

Once you’ve selected which counsellor(s) you’d like to meet with, the care team will send you a link to the provider’s online calendar. From there you can book a free initial consultation. This will give you an opportunity to get a better sense of the therapist and what they have to offer. Once you find the right fit, you’ll know, and you can begin booking regular sessions using our online portal.

Choose Your Own Adventure

Prefer to find your own match? You can also view our counsellor’s profiles to find your fit. Let us know who you’ve selected to meet with on your matching form, and we’ll send you a link to their booking portal. You’ll still be offered an opportunity for an initial fit check, and are welcome to meet with more than one counsellor that stands out to you.

Hello, and welcome! I’m thankful you’re taking this brave step in seeking support. Here’s a little about me so you can decide if I’d be a good fit for you.

My experience in supporting others has largely been with youth and young adults, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, harm reduction, neurodivergence, and individuals seeking to build upon their internal awareness and communication skills. In our sessions, I strive to create a space that acknowledges the systems affecting your daily life, values your inherent wisdom, and invites courage to share your story. My approach is holistic, relationship-centred, and trauma-informed.

I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative, and Somatic theories—methods that focus on understanding all parts of yourself and addressing every aspect of life, including spirit, body, and mind. These approaches help us explore your experiences in a way that fosters healing and growth through a focus on your story, parts, and values. I thrive in conversations that take us beyond the surface and dive a little deeper through our internal world.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, playing board games, spending time in nature, and picking up new hobbies—currently, I’m training for a triathlon and learning new baking skills! I believe creativity is a powerful tool for self-exploration, and I encourage you to bring your interests into our sessions.

As a lifelong learner, I am continually inspired by the chance to walk alongside others and be trusted with their stories. I offer virtual sessions across Ontario and in-person sessions in our London and Toronto offices. It would be an honour to support you in reaching your goals and building a life that aligns with your values. If you feel we might be a good match, please reach out for a free consultation. Let’s begin this journey together.

Sometimes life just feels… weird. Heavy. Confusing. You might be doing all the things you’re “supposed” to be doing, but you still feel lost, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of who you even are underneath it all. Maybe you keep asking yourself questions like: What am I doing with my life? Why does everything feel so hard? What is the point of it all?

A lot of people are carrying those questions right now.

We’re trying to exist in a world that constantly demands our attention, productivity, energy, and emotional capacity. Our phones never stop. The news never stops. Comparison never stops. And somehow we’re expected to keep functioning normally through all of it. It makes sense that so many of us feel anxious, exhausted, numb, unmotivated, or stuck.

You might feel guilty because there are things you want to do or habits you want to change, but you just can’t seem to get yourself to do it. Maybe part of you feels like you’re failing or that there is something wrong with you. I get it.

I care a lot about helping people make sense of their experiences both internally and externally, with more compassion and less shame. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can stop pretending for a second. A space where you can speak openly about the scary, confusing, and messy parts of being human without feeling judged or pathologized for it.

You don’t need to have the right words or a clear reason for coming to therapy. You can come in confused, uncertain, hopeless, curious, exhausted, or just feeling like something isn’t sitting right. We can figure it out together.

We all deserve loving kindness and dignified support, especially during difficult periods of life. Therapists can be your ally through periods of suffering like heartbreaking loss, unrelenting depression, exhausting burnout, traumatic injustices, pervasive anxiety, or profound loneliness. Our lives continue to change even when we feel most trapped or stuck, so together we can collaborate on ways to move with change toward renewing your wellbeing.

Person-centred therapy (PCT) emphasizes the expertise you hold about your life as a key resource to combine with my mental healthcare expertise. We can apply best treatment practices using methods that are relevant and accessible to you based on what you value, need, and want in both life and therapy. Our working partnership aims to reinforce, refine, and recreate your well-being based on your self-determination.

I will integrate important aspects of who we both are–including our potentially similar or differing life stages, cultures, or history with social injustice. To help bridge our shared humanity, I integrate affirmative and anti-oppressive practices to support personal dynamics like (but not limited to) neurodiversity, faith, race, disability, gender identities, sexuality, and unique kinship or relationship structures. My role includes upholding both who you are and how your values guide you through your life, relationships, and devotions.

Our approach aims to balance best practices with your circumstances, desired outcomes, and pacing needs. You may, for example, benefit from briefer or more intensive approaches if you’re oriented towards practical solutions, the future, and tangible changes in mood, thoughts, and habits. However, creating wellness for you might be more about presently attuning to your body, past, community, spirituality, creativity, emotions, or connection to nature.

I encourage you to reach out for a free consultation even if you are unsure about what you might want and need in therapy. As we explore possible approaches tailored to you, I will support you with my professional guidance. I look forward to connecting with you.

At Blueprint Counselling, I offer a gentle, nurturing space where you are welcomed just as you are. I understand you may arrive with feelings of shame, confusion, or self-blame that can feel heavy to carry. My role is to walk alongside you, gently helping to untangle those emotions with compassion and care. Together, we can hold understanding for how you navigated difficult times with the tools you had, and I will support you in letting go of self-blame so you can move toward wholeness and self-acceptance.

The stories we carry about ourselves, others, and our futures shape our lives in profound ways. Sometimes, these stories are tender places, woven from pain or misunderstanding. Healing means gently rewriting these stories to reflect your truth, your strengths, and your hope. Healing does not follow a straight line; we may circle back and revisit old wounds as often as needed, always with patience and kindness, until you feel ready to live the life you long for and deserve.

My approach is deeply rooted in relationships, recognizing that our closest bonds can be both the source of our greatest joy and our deepest vulnerability. We learn love by being loved, and we nurture ourselves as we have been nurtured. Many of our earliest attachment challenges begin when we are small, especially in the presence of trauma or substance use within the family. I cherish working with children and families to help lay a gentle foundation for the future, as well as supporting adults as they navigate trauma, substance use, gender-based violence and exploitation, anxiety, depression, and anger.

My therapeutic practice is informed by a range of evidence-based approaches, including:

  • Sand tray therapy and play therapy

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Attachment-based work

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Somatic therapy

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Narrative therapy

  • Polyvagal theory and nervous system regulation

I gently support clients in understanding and tending to their triggers, so those moments feel less overwhelming and more manageable. I am a warm ally to the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and I hold special care for supporting Two-Spirit clients.

As an Indigenous woman, I bring both my professional experience and my lived understanding of the impacts of colonialism, intergenerational trauma, and gender-based violence. I welcome and honour clients from both Indigenous and non-Indigenous backgrounds, respecting the sacredness of each person’s unique path.

I offer in-person and online sessions, with flexible evening and weekend times to fit your needs. Wherever you are on your journey, I am here to walk beside you, offering gentle support and guidance as you find your way forward.
