I remember being on the other end of therapy - not knowing who to talk to or whether I was making the right decision in choosing someone to open up to. I know how overwhelming and vulnerable that can feel. That’s why I’m genuinely glad you’re here, taking this first step. It matters.
As your therapist, my top goal is to create a space that feels safe, genuine, and grounded in empathy. You don’t need to have the perfect words or a clear plan to start - just a willingness to show up as you are. Together, we’ll explore your experiences from a place of curiosity and care, and work toward the kind of life and relationships that feel meaningful to you.
I like to use a holistic - and sometimes humouristic (because therapy is more fun that way) - approach, along with a trauma-informed lens. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, and there is certainly no single way to navigate an experience or find what feels right. With my background in psychology, biology, and philosophy, I tend to view things from a biopsychosocial perspective, meaning everything is taken into consideration in our work together.
In my experience, I have provided services related to BIPOC and cultural issues, emotions and grief, weight & lifestyle, career guidance & career-driven professionals, spirituality and religion, and general personal growth & healing. I also have experience in guiding clients with self-identity, life transitions, and relationship challenges, enabling a unique set of skills and insights that help clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.
But that’s enough about me! I’d love to learn more about you. When you feel ready, please don’t hesitate to reach out. As a counselling intern at Blueprint, I offer affordable virtual care, creating a supportive space you can access from wherever feels comfortable. You don’t have to go through this alone - we’re here to support you, every step of the way.
