Within counselling, I strive to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space in which we can collaboratively explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. I use a client-centered approach which is tailored to address your unique circumstances and concerns and my foremost concern is that you develop insight and strategies to move forward towards a healthier life and more meaningful future. I draw from Mindfulness-based and Cognitive Behavioural therapy interventions to help you gain clarity about your challenges, identify ideas for solutions, and develop strategies and skills for coping.

I am a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I completed my Master of Social Worker at the University of Windsor and I also hold a Bachelor of Education from Western University. I have recently supported individuals in the community who are experiencing anxiety, depression and/or are living with chronic pain. I have previous extensive experience working as an educator and my areas of training and interest include supporting adults and parents of children with ADHD and other dis/abilities.

I'm learning every day to allow the space between where I am and where I want to be to inspire me and not terrify me.
